the best place in the chicago area to purchase bonsai and bonsai equipment is at BC Bonsai in Wheaton, Jim and Linda are the best and so helpful. they have workshops that are reasonably priced, their trees are in great condition and reasonable and very reasonable priced on supplies. also very helpful at all times and always willing to answer questions either by email or phone or in person. if you are in the chicago area you need to visit them.
