I was looking for an inorganic product I could get locally.
I went to Whittlesey Landscape in Austin. 40lb bags are $5. I got three bags (40 lbs) and sifted them
<1/8" 3qt fines very consistent size
1/8" screen (almost 5 gallons)
1/4" screen (nothing larger then 1/2") about 4 gallons
This will be a part I will add to my Pumice and Expanded Shale (Haydite) for my trees that have not done and work yet. I will be working on some of the roots on some trees and wanted to have some material to repot.
It should give the material a little weight since Pumice and Haydite much lighter in weight
