I got this dwarf spreading yew because I liked the base and nebari. Oh was it root bound. I had to cut the nursery pot down the side and peel it off the root ball. It was so dense that it virtually laughed at my planting stick, time to break out the saw. Worked out the remaining roots and got it planted up in the pot. Since then it's sprouted buds everywhere up and down the branches. I'm still trying to decide where to go with it, it's my first yew.
