These are three ports which are 14-16 months old cuttings. Just looking for ideas and suggestions in general. What I want the most at this point is for the trunks to thicken so I guess I should just let them grow, but any feedback whatsoever is greatly appreciated.

First 4 pics are tree 1 from 4 sides
Then 4 from tree 2
And 4 from tree 3

Thanks in advance.

Nice Ports! If you want the trunks to thicken, then I’d just let them grow freely for a couple years and probably put them in bigger pots too.

The nice thing about ports is that you can cut them back as far as you want on the branches and they will reliably put out new buds.

Lookin good!

I’d let one grow big. Like @Colorado suggested- The other I’d do a hard cut back and work into a smaller tree. I’d keep the cuttings for the start of a forest planting.

Nice plants!
