There are pellet rifles that will do in squirrels and rabbits. Both are considered game animals under Michigan law and you need to have a hunting license and only take some permitted number during the open season, September,15 to March, 31. You can apply for a permit to remove animals as pests, and you can imagine the hoops not man-sized.
