I was doing some trimming on a bunch of trees today and found two different bugs that I had not seen before. I was working on a Englemann spruce when I noticed it was crawling with tiny blackish bugs that had wings. Did research and decided they were spruce gnats. Sprayed and got rid of them but glad I decided to work on that tree.

When working on other trees, I see this tiny, red, spider like bug about the size of a pinhead speeding around all over on some of the trees. Research again said they were probably Clover mites. Has anyone had experience with them?. If so I'll spray. There wasn't a lot of them so I wasn't to concerned.

Wouldn’t spray. Fast, red = predatory mites = The good guys!

Video on the net and they look just like the ones I saw. these are being called predatory mites by numerous people that have viewed the video.

There are two links attached here. The bottom one "DASHPLaylist" is the one I was talking about. they look exactly like mine. DSD right again!
