After reaching 7F and 8" of snow last week, we are now 75F and the long range forecasts show above normal temperatures for February and early March. Temps in the 80s next week.

The red maples (acer rubrum) in my yard are swelling buds, and even opening. Native azaleas are also swelling.

Time to collect yamadori and get ready for Spring!
