Repotted this bougainvillea from nursery pot into training pot. I believe it’s pixie or torch glow variety. I like the trunk with its gentle curves. Should be a good one.

Pruned back is much better looking......much better looking.....better for healthy growth. The growth should be strong once the tree gets roots settled and productive.

April 15, 2022 update: the tree is starting to push spring growth as it’s flowering. As it’s relatively bare, I wired down the branches, mostly guy wires but also some true wiring using two branch principle. A couple of them snapped but most were fairly amenable to wiring. Will let it rest and push lots of new growth first, then prune back early summer.

A branch broke off when I bent it and I tried to fix it back with the ties. Will remove them later.
