Should i or shouldn't i (cork bark elm)

Yeah i should have mentioned before i dont concider the price an issue.
And im on the look out for a more developed broom style tree as i lime the more developed ones ive seen in the flesh.
So an elm or something similar seems a good choice as they develop quick.
Also the bark on the corkbark elms does add the look of age to the tree.
Also on the price if you break it down the pot itself would not be cheap to purchase i have a few john pitt pots and even though its not the biggest pot it will still be fairly pricey.

I'd say go for it then. The branch structure looks solid. Maybe you'd remove some primary branching or refine what's there but nothing major. I think it's a nice tree and if it's been something you've been searching for just buy it.

I like this corker more than most.

The corky reverse taper is not bad in this and is more or less hid in the branching spread.

I'd figure it to be worse on a broom...
But it looks great here.

Pot works too.

Should!

I have finally recieved this tree and its in fantastic condition.
It looks so much better and more developed in real life than the original pics did im well happy with it and its pot which really does work with the tree.

I like it, REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY LIKE IT! Congratulations

That's a beautiful tree! From what I've heard cork bark and moss are not a good combination and can lead to rot. I'd pull it off the bark at a minimum.

Excellent Moss removal already!
And the trunk didn't Get ruined!

I'd scrape it away from the trunk of you look at em everyday.
Remove it fully if you don't.

New best tree?
Sure would be mine!

How awesome that it still looks so good!

Big congrats!
Big score!
