Spring is such a lovely time of year.
Even better because I don't have to do that crazy bonsai two step.

Crab apple close to full flower this week.

The tridents are also waking up but not all at the same time. These 3 are growing within a few metres of each other and receive almost identical care but very different growing cycles.

WOW I love the colours on the crab apple. At first glance I thought it was an azalea. Beautiful mate.

The crab apple is a cultivar called 'Profusion'. Reddish leaves, red flowers and tiny red fruit.
 
Amazing. Simply amazing. I aspire to build a tree half as appealing as any one of these! My favorite is the split trunk, but I would be thrilled to create anything close to what you're displaying for us here. Thank you for your encouraging photos!
If you feel like posting again fully leafed out, I promise not to complain!
