Sapling Division: HorseloverFat’s Punica Granatum/Rosemary Officinalis Slab.

I'd like to know what song to listen to while viewing this thread to set the mood appropriately.

These 2 species do not have the watering requirements. ??
This is true... I was planning on planting somewhat creatively underneath the surface (tilt-run channels and alternating soil particle diameters/aggregate). but there’s a HIGH chance that come “growing season”, after the move outdoors, the water received by the entire planting MAY be too much for the Rosemary.. we shall see.. The Punicas are the “main event” so-to-speak... the rosemary was just intended as scale bush.. or shrub.. to fill out the planting.

So it was assembly time... I have the Rosemary(s) picked out.. but did not incorporate them YET.

Punica(s) were selected and transferred to the slab.

That first of the last two was my intended “front”.. but when I took the “back” picture(that last one), a moment of “well.. that’d work too” blew through.

🤓

I soooo misread that sentence... 🙄

This is going place. Nice pairing of species with very similar care requirements!
Thank you!

I think that the foliage is JUST similar enough for these to REALLY compliment each other, as well.

Their outdoor “table” top is black sheet metal with underheat in mind..

They also have an abundance of “ghetto light” (attempted to be) crammed down their throats all winter.AFC78A2A-951B-4118-B154-28880A2EE4A0.jpeg

Yikes, how do you live there? I'm not going to complain about my weather anymore. Well, I probably will, but's it's not that bad.
