I read several of his works, and he's a great writer, one of the greatest in the 20th-21st cntury.
Yusuf Islam, Darnold Crump and the like are just hate-mongers. Both and others of their kind are only intersted in power and money, like the "evangelists" that support Bolsonaro in Brazil : all religions sucks.
This is not what I read from "the good book", and some of my friends of muslim origins (it's much harder for tem fo they've been brainwashed since an early age) have come to the same conclusion.
