I had read a few places to only repot tropicals when the temps are in 60F or above at night. Out here in the desert it is still in the 50s ant night but them temps in the days are increasing. And this coming week we are having above normal temps.

Is it ok to repot when the night temps are in the 50s because the days are warm? I don't want to miss my window of repotting and then all the sudden it is in the 90s.
My trops include- Dwarf Jade, bougainvillea, lantana,, texas ebony, and cape honeysuckle.

I usually don't put shade cloth up til May. But with this warm week the UV index will be at 6. So may have to do that.
I attached the forecast of this week.
For those who don't know we are in out mid 90s by late April and in the 120s in June.

Thanks and have a great weekend.

50 degrees is my low temperature threshold here in Louisiana. If the lows are in the 50s my tropical trees are all outside and growing. Growth is slow but they’re all definitely growing. If they are growing they’ll be just fine if repotted. It’s best to wait if you can’t protect them. I repot tropicals early but I do try to time it so that I don’t get caught by another week long cold spell. Once our brutal summers hit their roots are dug in and the trees don’t skip a beat.
Edit: I’ve repotted a lot of tropicals “early”and have never lost one. My indoor plant room has 4ft t5 fixtures and the exterior wall is windows facing east southeast. I wouldn’t repot them early if I didnt have the plant room set up, because Mother Nature is bi polar in Louisiana.. it was 80 degrees yesterday afternoon .. at 3am this morning it was 38 degrees and will be in the low 20s and teens the next few days for lows. 🤷🏻

Thank you. I bring in my tropicals when the night time is under 50. But I will wait a little bit. I am sure we will go back to our daytime 70s in a week or so. And Mother Nature is also bi polar here. Lol

The only tropicals I grow are Ficus. We repot those any time through summer, even if temps are around 40C (100F) Heat does not seem to bother them so I agree with @SWfloirda the repotting potting window is much wider than many believe..
