Lately, you've been posting about post summer equinox pine root work/repotting and it got me wondering: Do you think it might be advantageous to do pine scion grafting at this time too? Last year, just for a hoot, I performed 20 Japanese black pine scion grafts on
September 12. I've lost about 3 grafts so far but I probably won't know what kind of success rate I've had until
the middle of summer. Do you think I might be able to push that Sept. 12 grafting date back to late June?
