Is there some way to search for a person's profile and I'm just missing it?

If you want to just go to their profile page, click on their user name. If you are searching for a particular user, go to the "members" tab and there are numerous ways to search for people.

Okay, I knew one person's user name: "deano". I wanted to know a little more about them since my user name is "deanoaz". They weren't online at the time; I didn't know any posts they had made; so I didn't have a place to click on their user name. If I got to the Members tab, it lists current visitors or is oriented to posts. Other forums I had belonged in the past had a place to click that brought up the member list and I was just looking for that.

Just go to the member's tab and you will find a big search box titled "find a member". Start typing and the site will show the members that match your criteria.

For example if I start typing "dean" two users pop up - you and "Deano". Click on his name and you will be taken directly to his profile page

Now I see. When I had been clicking the Members tab, all I was getting was the current visitors and two searches for posts. I now clicked the Members tab a second time and see what you mean. Thanks.

The mystery is solved: If you click the arrow next to the word Members, it only brings up 3 choices. If you click the word Members, it opens up a whole world of opportunities. THANKS!
