I got this pre-bonsai from a local nursery. The character is so strong, but it was not styled to expose the character, so re-styling is on process...

Don't be supprised with the leaves size on the simulated picture..Premna's leaves can be reduced significantly from the original size of 8 CM to 2 MM !!!

The tree began with a lot of character and you added more. I'd like to know more about your carving techniques.

Roberts, do you treat the deadwood with lime sulfur to whiten it? Do these premna's look better with dark narural untreated deadwood?

Sam, I don't see Piko for quite sometimes, but still in contact.

Nguyen, we threat with lime-sulfur to preserve, not for coloring...I always like natural color...
