Hi bonsai nuts,

I recently got this lovely podocarpus from a store, and while I really like it (and the species is pretty difficult to find here in Denmark), I think especially the top part looks a bit messy. I'm not going to cut anything off it this time of year, but I'm thinking about what to do with it in the future.

Do any of you more experienced bonsai nuts have any suggestions for what to cut on it? (or anything else about shaping it in the future)

Could you show us a couple more pictures at more angles? It would help to see the tree from both sides, from the back, and from the top down. It's otherwise difficult to give advice on a three-dimensional tree based on a two-dimensional image.

Sure thing. Here are a few more.

(Apologies for the poor lighting; it's after sundown here.)
