How's this look?

pale top.jpg

The upper foliage looks paler than usual.
I...THINK.... it gets enough water.
Maybe needs more?

Inset is whole tree a couple months ago. Same location. šŸ¤”

Not too much sun? It gets HOT here and the junipers are in direct sun all day.

I mean it could be mites, but I FEAR our sun.

Disregard previous bullshit. It is MITES !!!
Did the WHITE PAPER thingy. I mean ITSY BITSY damn lil bastards.
Apologies for casting about for oddball minutiae. šŸ„“

But it DOES get KILLER HOT here.
....I.. would die where the junipers are. šŸ„¶

DRENCHED it with Neem Oil.
Can't find any more crawlies on paper.

But...every spider mite I've ever seen was red.
These ....were... black.

\o_O

Put it in the shade when you treat with neem. Treat it again in 2 weeks and 2 weeks after that to make sure you get through the entire life cycle

I used up both my Neem and some Bonide copper. Still have the Bonide but Neem is gone.
Things look a LOT better. Greening up somewhat. New growth should tell the tale.
Which of those two is most applicable for mites?
