Nursery Blue Spruce to Grow Box in Late Summer/Fall?

Posted about this CBS yesterday, so I do apologize if I'm posting too much.

I built a grow box but unsure if I should wait until Spring to replant it. I would refrain from doing significant root work if I were to replant it, just trying to give it a larger area to grow.
