Hello everyone. Just recently got into bonsai a few weeks ago and bought two indoor and three outdoor trees. Have a few questions.
First one is my pine, just bought this from my local garden centre and re potted into a bonsai pot, i ordered some pine and juniper soil from a dedicated bonsai website. Just wanted to make sure its the right stuff, its a mixture of Kiryzuna and Pumice. It just looks like stones, is this ok for the plant or do i need to add anything else ? Also should i only give the pine water after re potting and wait a month until feeding ? Ive attached before and after photos of the pine and juniper. About the juniper, ive trimmed it and probably could do with more trimming but was a little scared lol but should i also use the mixture of Kiryzuna and Pumice instead of the soil it came in or just leave it bee ?

Welcome and sorry my friend, I don't think you should keep any of those trees indoors, would be best outside where they need that environment to grow best. If you are repotting, don't feed the tree right away, let it settle into its new pot first, may be a few more months than one. I can't speak about Kiryzuna, never used it, but what I think most people use for bonsai soil is pumice, lava rock and akadama mixed together at the ratio they want. Enjoy!

Your pine looks like a Dwarf Alberta spruce, which is not a pine. They don't like summer repotting where I'm from, and it's usually a death sentence to do so.
Inorganic substrates are fine, I think you have the right soil.

None of the two trees you're showing here are indoor bonsai, they both need to be outside.

Water your plants when the soil has dried. The juniper looks fine for now.

Check out the beginner series from Bonsai Mirai on youtube, they cover most of your questions.

Sorry i should of explained better. I keep the pine, juniper and redwood dawn outside. Ive made another thread on the two i keep indoor.

Should've!😋

What're themins Leggas making? An obstaclation course?
