I'm new to Bonsai and my first effort is a 16 year old pre-bonsai Juniper that was recently given to me in an old 5 gallon bucket. I styled and potted about two months ago. After my initial research, I decided to use akadama and pumice and here's my question: Once the spring arrives, what type of fertilizer and frequency should I plan on? Pellets, liquid? What type of nitrogen ratios, etc? BTW, I live in Dallas, Texas. Thanks in advance for your input–I look forward to learning!

Its funny that you would mention that limb on the left–I have been looking at it for a couple of week now trying to decide on removing it...I'm just about there! Thanks for your input.
