New One, With Wings

Was out watering tonight and find this winged elm in one of my flower baskets, it is a volunteer, no idea where the seed came from but I think I will remove it to train this fall. Kina cool, just wanted to share.

How often do you water the flowers? That looks like it's been there for a bit.

I haven't had to water much this month with all the rain and vacation during the first week (had someone else taking care of things). I it this spring and when it leadfed out I just figured it was a Chinese elm, the neighbor has one. I noticed the wings this week. It could have sprouted last year as the planter was flush with flowers. I did not replant this year so it was easy to see.
