Good morning and happy Father’s Day
I have been doing bonsai for a while, and I have been lucky to be able to afford nice trees early, while also working on project trees
I usually like small and medium size trees, except for a couple opportunities I couldn’t pass on
I have met a couple of folks at the Grand Rapids show in May

@Ben in Kzoo I’m in the GR area as well and new to the hobby. Curious as to where you found some of your more well developed trees. I’ve got mostly nursery stock currently but have started to feel more comfortable and want to purchase a more tree I can start to practice some refinement techniques on.

Also finally tried to get the best out of a Scots I should never have bought (nursery)…. Oh well, we play with the cards we’re dealt
