I was wanting to refer back to Neli's critiquing of that fall box challenge awhile back. She did an amazing diagram of how one should look at wiring juniper. I thought I had saved it...but can't find it. Wanting to print off more notes for my binders I have. Since I now have junipers in my care...I wish to have this as an additional study to look back on.
@Vin thinking you might know what it was under...exhausted and heading to bed. But hoping someone knows of that thread where we asked her to critique our trees.

I'm curious What kind of notes do you have in your binder? I have always wanted to create a notebook too to keep records and notes on species in it but I just havent found time

I've bookmarked many things. But am trying to print off some of the good information. Mostly...a photo also so if some reason I can't offer full explanation on the care of a species of tree. The binder says it all. Photo...what fertilizer regiment on and so fourth. Just so it's taken care of properly if I can't voice the care to give it for some unknown reason.

You just inadvertently led me to that trunk chop/taper technique I have been going mad looking for! It was on Neli's blog - I'll post it where we've been discussing it.

Search Function! All Day!

That's why I post all my stuff here....
And add notes.

Every time I do something....I remember to Take pictures better......and document stuff here.....I always have my threads up when I'm working.

This way....right or wrong.....we see the results...it's all there.

Good idea, but I normally don't post much stuff here because most of it isn't anything I am proud enough of to show here. That cherry is about the extent of my trees thus far.

Hide my shame!

My shit ain't all that either.....

But this ain't only about showing off finished trees!

It's about learning how to make shit into good!

How lame is a bunch of finished trees.
With minor branch movements.

I like progression. Documentation.
Conversation. Critiques.....
All of which leads to..... Knowledge.....
Leads to......
World Class trees.!

IMO.
