Ordered my seeds in January from F.W. Schumacher after reading that others have had good experiences with them. Initially was going to order just black pine seeds in a very small quantity, then I went a little crazy and almost sent a large order when my wife remarked that she didn't know if I really need 20k seeds from 10 different species as I'm not opening a nursery in our backyard. Point taken.
I settled on 3oz of Black Pine seeds, which according to the website...should amount to around 1700 seeds. I've not opened the package to count them.
Also snagged some ponderosa seeds that are ironically....from the San Juans, which is near where I live. I like to think the seeds I ordered are finally able to return to their homeland.
Bought a small packet of balfouriana as well. Planning to start groups of each pine at the same time, should be interesting to see how differently each of them perform.
Weather has been pretty odd and I'm moving to a new place at the beginning of April, so I'll probably wait until closer to that time to put these guys into float test mode, trays, etc.
