I picked up this winged Elm at my local Nursery. I already started an air layer, in hopes to have a second tree. It is currently 40 inches tall with a 2 inch diameter trunk. If you have any experience with this tree please advise me.

Cool; elms are awesome, and it should layer easily. Are you sure that's a 2" trunk? It doesn't even look thicker that your garden hose in that second picture . . .
