My new tools!

Have you not been growing any bonsai recently? I wasn't aware of that, I thought you at least still had those brooms...

Nice set of tools. That leads me to a question. I wonder what type of tools a novice bonsai enthusiast like me needs for life as a must? Properly sized concave cutter and a pair of long scissors I guess? For the rest a standard general purpose tools should be OK just to start with?

@JoeR . Yea,took about a year break from Bonsai.Donated my collection of trees to a bonsai buddy.
My mother has entered hospice here at home and I am moving also and was wrapped up in searching for my home at the time too.
But,now I am ready to get growing.Thanks!

@ralf .Yes,I started with a general purpose tool kit that had no repotting accessories, but I made do.
Really though it is nice having two pairs each of scissors and such as it is nice to have one pair for roots and the other pair for top growth. And the repotting accessories and soil seeves and soil scoops are one way of making things easier.Glad I finally have them now.

@cmeg1 Right, the soil seeves are quite handy, I do agree. Good luck and all the best from sunny Saxony.

I think I just bought the last set of these from https://bonsaitonight.com/
Looks great,really excited.

If I am eventually going to buy a bonsai for the new house I will need tools first!
How are these tools? I'm looking to buying a set but not sure what set to get and also a good price. This set seems decent price for the tools.
