part it looked fine. then about a month ago I noticest that the leafs turn copper color. not sure
whats going on with it.I now have it out of the garage. and the inside of the leafs look green
I only watered over the winter when it needed it

Looks like it dried out at one point over the winter, and you must have caught it while it was quite wilted and watered it? Seeing the individual leaves die from the outside-in suggests dehydration. Maybe from freezing, maybe from drying out.

It also appears to be recovering. The bronze leaves will fall off, focus your attention on the new green growth.

Good luck.

thank you for your response yes i thought tha,t and maybe it was the watering or the lack of it
it in a very small pot and it needs to be repoted .

The Bronze leafs are gone so to speak. I would cut them off and start proper care. You will then be able to see the new stuff a lot easier.
