Here is my Escambron, a Puerto Rican native.
This what it looked like on Ebay.
Upon receiving it I noticed horrible wire scarring. I had to cut off just about everything, and start over. No worries. I believe it gives the trunk a new beginning.
Here it is about 3 months after it's prune.
In the short time of having it, I've noticed very fast growth, and flexible branches on new growth. I seems to have zero problems budding on old wood too. By what I'm seeing so far, it seems to enjoy my climate zone.
