I agree with reaching out to the local clubs. Members usually have great material for sale that is otherwise not publicized along with connections. But it can take a little effort and time to meet and talk to people. But is a great experience! Good luck finding the right tree’s for your garden!

Everything nice takes effort, otherwise it’s probably not worth your time or attention..

Might be wise to do a guinea pig of sorts with 99 cent auctions. Before spending more money on something that may not do well in your area. There were some up on auction earlier.

You’re awesome, thank you. It might not be the perfect climate but they do well here. Someone mentioned house of bonsai earlier, and I go there often, they have plenty of apple trees there and they’re super healthy. I know there only so much we can control but I’ll do my best to look after them and give them the attention they need

Well then, there is that. I take it you live near there then. Our zones and what one can grow is crazy. I'm in a microclimate where 8 miles from me can grow things i can't possibly have in my landscape.

You definitely get it then, I'm sure you do what you can to control the conditions in your area but there really is only SO MUCH you can do...

What's up everyone, so I'm in the same situation as many of us and my wife is just about ready to kill me over how much I've already spent this month, but she also really like crabapple trees and pretty much anything that fruits nicely (persimmons especially) but I'd like to gift her a tree of her own to look after.

Preferably not looking to spend too much but let me know if there's anything available...
