On my morning walk I found what looked like a great lodgepole pine that is a natural semi cascade. The catch is that when I was removing some of the top layer of dirt to look for the nebari, I dug down around 8-10 inches and it looks like this amazing tree may actually be an exposed root of a larger tree close by.
Which bring me to my question, can you scrape the bark and with root hormone get some roots growing to remove this tree? It is on my property so I can monitor it. I just dont want to kill it for the sake of experimenting.
