Got a new light this week for overwintering some tropicals and what not

Cool light! Don't know too much about LED's, but I'm glad it doesn't give off those annoying colors that you usually see with them. I feel like you can't enjoy the plants while the lights are on. That light is surprisingly inexpensive for what I thought a 300w LED would be. Keep us updated on how the plants do!

And....

All that brown frightens me....

You don't want "wet" / "mildewy" creeping in behind your insulation there.....

I can't find it online....but I found some shower wall liner that would keep that protected.

White walls a little brighter......
A little more enclosed.....

We protect our plants from our space....
But oft overlook protecting our space from our plants!

How do you like your grow light? I have several others but I am looking to add a smaller one of this size.

Plants seem happy, leaves starting to turn to the light. This is my first one and I'm happy with it. It has a pleasing yellow spectrum. I intend to purchase another to set up for seed propagation. I will also be moving my setup and implementing most of Sorces recommendations after the new year.

Got this set up for propagating seeds think I'll use it on some tropicals once I get done growing from seed or I'll add more lights if u continue growing from seed. Let us know how led works might try them if I buy more lights. And yes I would definitely do something with those walls any moisture on the insulation will ruin it and will cause mold and mildew

I just went to order a second one of these and Amazon is running some type of lightning deal, it was $54 today...
