At this point it might be wise to just let the tree grow and see what it looks like once the foliage pushes.

Once the pattern becomes clear, you might switch to clip and grow technique from here on out. The craggy, ancient style gets lost when one wires beyond this point.

At some point after researching the look, the tree might benefit from shari on the trunk. Dan Robinson’s is a master at this technique, perfecting it over many years, his trees are good examples.
