Messing around at Lowes the other day and found this od shaped cleyera. Really could not find any information for use as Bonsai. Have a few in the yard that I play with, and they bud fast and are tough as nails.

You live where cleyeras flourish! They are occasionally used as landscape plants here, but are poorly adapted. Healthy specimens are beautiful. I've never seen one as bonsai, but your nursery plant has potential. Go for it.
