Can I do both on the same day? Made a neem mix and plan to spray today. Is there any reason I should NOT fertilize the same or next day?

Likely be spraying the neem oil at in the evening?
As long as one avoids wetting the leaves, or if so they dry before spraying, should be fine.

I had some bad results with a mixture of insecticide and fungicide plus sunlight. I would avoid having a mixture of chemicals on the leaves of a plant. It resulted in some odd phototoxicity effect.
I am therefore only using one product at a time, and do it in the evening or on a cloudy day. Then let rain wash it off. And only then do the other one.

Neem is totally toxic to other plants. phytochemically allelopathic. Would be like spraying high dose of camphor oil - nothing grows under a camphor tree just the rain dripping off the chemicals on its leaves is enough to kill all beneath.

I'm not so sure about that. 2 of my bonsai benches have been under a camphor tree (especially for summer shade) for some 10 years now. I never had problems. Constantly weeding the ground under it to.
Hmmm... I have been avoiding anything under the drip edge for years, only temporary area. May time to reexamine, because I need the space. I know some people use Neem with no trouble so I should not generalize here.
