The Celtis seeds are for the celtis contest, the other two were the whim. Rhus typhina is staghorn sumac. And Sophora secundiflora are texas mountain laurel.
I dunno if they're any good for bonsai, but they looked cool in the pictures!
Texas mountain laurel can tolerate up to 10°F. So I think we should be okay outside. We'll see how it does. Apparently I'm going to need to scarify the seeds and plants in a 4 inch pot, no cold stratification necessary.
For the staghorn sumac, I need to scarify by boiling a pot of water and tossing the seeds in and leave them to cool. Then I pop them in the fridge for a month and then plant them.
Fingers crossed something grows!
