I was rereading all the valuable information Neli took her time and explained on her critiquing thread. Is there anyway to save her comments and photos explaining and making a sticky post that doesn't get lost later. Some extremely valuable information that for once...had a lightbulb going off over my head explaining how ones get such a detailed look from conifers. Along with other things as well...just throwing that out there. I think it would be great to have to look back on...or for newbies to be able to read in a sticky at a later date.

You can always book mark it - you know, 'add to favorites' on your browser.

True...thanks is will do that. But, there is valuable information that really isn't toward an individual's tree...but species of tree. That is very well written that explains it to the point it sinks in. That was what I was wondering. Copy and paste those posts to a sticky.

Personally, I don't like the idea of adding a bunch of "stickys" to the forums. I think a better approach would be for the forum to add a new sub-forum called "library" or "top threads" (like on IBC) and such threads could reside there. Could be placed in the currently little-used "Articles, Tutorials, Shows and Exhibits" part of the forum. Otherwise, the "subscribe to this thread" option would probably do in a pinch.

or a sub part for "specific species care and styling" Neil's thread and A question for VW could both go in there. Maybe something from Adair on JBP... . I think this is a really cool idea and might help eliminate a lot of newb questions about general care and styling.

You could always right click, choose Select All, and then Copy, and then paste the entire thread into a word processor and edit out what you don't want.
