And I found 10 reasons to spend money!

I’ve flagged these trees at Randy Knight’s “Farm” so I can haggle and/or barter for how much he wants for them. If the price is right, I’m hoping to take home 3 or 4 of them. Trees H, J, and K are most tempting to me.

These are from his 2017 collecting trips, so they wouldn’t be ready for potting and styling until about 2020.

No, this kind of trees are avaialble at Nature's Way Nursery in Harrisburg or at Hidfen Gardens near Chicago from around 200 to 500
Oh if that is the case then pretty reasonable. Thanks for clarify that. I always thought they are unreachable to common folks like me.

Lawdy, I would love to pay $500 for each of these trees. :)

It seems we have a different understanding, here. Tree K is in the low 4-figure range.

Maybe the size and scale of these trees is not clear. They’re variously in 16" Anderson flats and 10–15 gallon nursery cans.

It has also been wet in Oregon, so the deadwood is not as apparent as it could be. Trees B and G are the smallest. Several of these trees are 4 feet tall.

Lot's of great Ponderosas to chose from there... now where are the Juniper pics;)?
This is the Pines forum, buddy ;)

As much as it sounds like it would be a good idea to buy from Randy Knight direct, you know Ryan Neal would pick out the best ones first.

beautiful pondies with lots of great movement! Haggle away and good luck with what you choose!

I do not own a single pine. However, along with your choices I would add E to the mix. I hope you end up getting the ones you want. Good luck.
