Hi all, i need your advices on these two (Prunus mahaleb and Acer tataricum), i`ve just dig them and put them in pots. I know that the time of the year isn't the best time but...i will try.
So, can i leave them outside, for my region the temperatures are still relatively high.
If i bring them inside would it be a good idea to spend the winter inside?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thank you!

no, spending winter inside will be detrimental, they should be outdoors as much as possible, you could bring them into an unheated garage or under cover outdoors if there's gonna be frost overnight or something. may or may not help, could die anyways as a result of being dug out of season, but they could make it

They lived :D Maybe i`ve made a mistake by planting them in peat(only) soil. But for now, they are growing fine.

Peat is okay if you're careful not to water too often. When it dries, it becomes hydrophobic, so when you do water, you'll need to give each tree multiple passes until the soil is thoroughly wet. It may help to submerge the whole pot for a few minutes.
