Going through some "stuff". Irritated...is not something someone should be feeling when working on bonsai. Going to glue a cascade branch of my cherry that I didn't totally break off. But tore slightly. Kicking myself that my movements must have been harsher than I thought.

Lesson learned...

We'll. I've also made stupid mistakes from being to tired! Big no no for me now ;)

Sorry you're going through a rough patch, Darlene. Life takes priority, always. We're passionate about our bonsai, but after all, they're just plants. Our lives are more important. Hope you feel better.

Yep its also not good to work on your trees when you are feeling sick. Your level of patience is definitely lower.

I just got done working on my BNut challenge entry and I am sick as a dog. It was all I could do to finish it, get the tools cleaned up and put away.

You are so right! Just so much "stuff" going on. Things I can't control...all around the board...what gets me is...I was in a mood today...thinking if the dormant bonsai all died I could care less. As long as I had my tropicals I would be fine with it (Yup in a funk...need to get out of it. I may not be able to control all the things going on...and they feel like dominoes falling all around...but...I have lost MY focus of my typical outlook on things. That I am to stop and count my blessings...because someone out there would give anything to have my bad day/days)

But...the deadline is still a bit way right? I thought...finding a tree was the first time frame...no? I need to go back and read the details again.

I can tell you this...the last thing I need to do is work bonsai. It would have far to much Jin from my man handling it.

Feel better...rest is the best medicine for that.
