Hornbeam budding in mid winter

Hi guys!

I have this hornbeam, and started budding in late december, where should I keep it?

We had a very soft winter, a little frost was a month ago, but since then its like a colder fall

Ive had this happen often on my balcony with the Hornbeams, I just leave them be. Doesn't seem to slow them down much come spring. You can move to a shadier spot, maybe under a bench.

That bud will dieback. The others should remain in limbo with more shade.
