Not looking for a finished tree, but one with potential, and some years of growth on it already.

Some reputable places that I know of that sell them:

New England Bonsai Gardens
Miami Tropical Bonsai
Brussels Bonsai

Keep checking back on those and see if they come up with something you like at a price youre looking for

Not sure where you live because you havent put that on your profile but if you dont live in Florida, Texas or someplace warm like that, make sure you have or are willing to arrange for a place to keep a BRT inside when it is less than 60 Deg F during the day.

I'm in NY Long Island. Thanks!

Please update your profile with that info so we don't have to keep asking you. It will help us answer your questions.

You definitely need to provide a winter area for BRT. I put mine on a table in my basement under 2 4 foot 3 bulb shop lights with grow lights on a timer. You can get a fixture like that at home depot.

Mine do quite well under those lights, even grow for me all winter.

I looked at the rain trees they have listed and there are several very nice pre-bonsai available
IMO I've seen better ones from them for around the same prices posted. I would wait, if buying from them. Or email them to see if they have other ones...

I liked this one on their site for $59, but I would give then a call and see what they have.

Tony,
I was just up at NEBG over the weekend.
They have quite a few BRT in a good range of development and prices. Give them a call. They have considerably more in stock then what is on their website.

Good luck.
Let us know how you do.

Thanks I have a call in to them, as of this morning. They are going to be sending me pictures of some other ones, that have not yet been listed on the site. I'm excited!
