It needs to be outside 24 hours a day. It will weaken inside and eventually die. Junipers are not house plants.

Moneyred, it looks very healthy. I would bet that is one of the "blue" types of juniper, I had a blue star juniper that had that "silver-like" appearance on the mature foliage.

Leave it outside 100% of the time. It looks like you may be watering too much as well. Only water when the soil is dry.

When the new growth emerges, it is very green. After the foliage ages, it turns a slightly different color. It could be that the foliage has turned color because it is starting to mature.

However, keeping a juniper inside, can cause it to turn a pale green.

Sometimes, in the case of conifers, when the entire tree turns a different color out of season. It can mean that the tree is dead. However, that does not look like the case here.

As mentioned and if possible, leaving it outside is the best bet.

Yea junipers are very sensitive to being overwatered. I water my junipers way less then my other trees. That I almost have to water daily now.
