It is time to celebrate the great event.
Four score and seven years ago, the great Abraham Lincoln gazed out upon the poppies of Flanders Field and saw a vision. He had a dream. And little did he know that in a humble attic not far away, little Rosa Parks was valiantly sewing our first flag unmindful of the Communist threat.
Yes, even then he could not envision that a humble midnight ride by that early patriot, John Birch, would signal a great war for our security.
From the bitter winter that George Washington spent at the battle of the bulge would spring a new nation, conceived in diversity and dedicated to a valiant legislature that would steer our course unerringly toward the freedom that we enjoy today.
And as Santa Anna drove his dagger into woodsman Daniel Boone, little did he know that he could not with such a craven cowardly act deprive the United States of our ancestors' concepts of the honor of greatness and the much beloved prospectus of the American corporation.
That is why we are gathered here today. To salute our brave forefathers who brought forth such symbols of greatness as our honored United States Federal Reserve which safeguards the very security of the fruits of our labors in making this nation prosperous and free.
So, let us make this day a celebration. Light the skies of liberty with the flames and sparkles of the fireworks that we with our freedom liberally import from nations who do not enjoy the lifestyles for which we owe such great debt.
