Happy Father's Day tomorrow to all of you dads. Unfortunately, my dad isn't around anymore but I'm lucky to be married to the best dad I could have asked for, for my kids. We might not always remember to thank you but we appreciate all you do, enjoy your day!

I separated 10 air layers. Still haven't finished potting them up... have to come in for father's duties. Will try to strike some trident cuttings for ROR.

Went to see my dad in Florida for Father's day and also to celebrate my niece's graduation from med school.
Dad is 97. After his back surgery, his health is declining. I can't help tearing up seeing him in church this past Sunday and was only able to stand for a few minutes at a time. It was good to see four generations of us surrounding him though.
My perk on Father's day were 15 minutes pulling off the road so that I could observe a large group of BCs on the bank of a lake in Florida. There are subtle differences in the development pattern of the base between Florida and Louisiana.

Had a bunch of people over. Lot's of kids came (only one of mine though). And they were surprisingly interested in the garden. MTG cards were put down, video games and TV set aside and they came to hear about airlayering and grafting. Go figure. I gave out a bunch of port cuttings as well as strawberry plants (they are invasive in my backyard).

I got my first piece of #1 Dad paraphernalia. Only took 6 years! But it was also my son's 4th birthday, so it was all about him!
I'll be fixing my dad's computer for his father's day gift - he called me today after he "clicked a link on Facebook" and now a fake Windows security alert won't let him do anything (at least he was smart enough to call me instead of the number on the alert!).

Had the kids and grandkids to celebrate “Pops”. Lots of work but worth it! Best comment of the day - one of the grandsons said “Grammy why do you have so many miniature trees?” Finally! They must be starting to look like something! Lol
