Give a stick a chance

This is a tree I purchased about 6 years ago for around $20. It was a cascading stick with some foliage. Probably worth more than $20 now

The tree is about 9 inches tall with about a 2 inch base. Since the trunk is relatively slender, the flowing movement and foliage pads are the focus on this tree. The first pic is as purchased.

lol... Ya,, I have this problem with aluminum snakes getting into my yard and wrapping around the trunks of my trees...Oddly enough, they seem to almost always wrap around the tree in the shape of an informal upright or cascade... Maybe I should set some traps for them.
