Received my ginseng grafted ficus three weeks ago with a broken branch. I mended it and seems to be doing well. It has new growth everywhere but at the same time leaves have dropped turning black on lower branches. I have it under a full spectrum uv light, I've heard everything from 18 hours artificial is only 3 natural light and 12 hours artificial is sufficient. I'm checking the soil waiting to water, I did spray the leaves in the beginning every other day but I can't figure it out. I did move it to my window sill when the sun was very bright yesterday afternoon and today leaves dropped (knee jerk reaction to what someone told me) I'm in jersey city, nj zone 6b I believe (2 different zones running through my area) any advice I appreciation. Still new and trying to navigate this amazing world.

I wouldn't worry too much about it dropping a few leaves, probably just getting used to it's new digs. Moving it around won't help that, only make it worse.

Copy thank you, just noticed these seeds on top of soil that weren't there before. A white discharge milky at first but then powdery. The green fertilizer pellets it came with it's definitely too big for that. Any idea?
