Thought I’d share this funky little thing and hope y’all like it.

Where are all the leaves? It looks like a maple, is it? What kind of maple?

I would have gone with a wider, and shallower pot, unless you are planning to make this tree cascade in the near future. You don't have much trunk, are you planning on eventually removing the first two branches?

It’s an air-layer I just separated so decided to defoliate 1. Not to stress the roots too much
2. All leafs were sun-burnt.
As far as plans for it, just wanna enjoy and study it till spring time.

This is a marginally bad time to defoliate maples. It might want to try to expand some leaves which would use up next springs buds. Probably be better to keep it in low light and low photoperiod to encourage it to go straight into quiescence even if it's too early in the ~autumn. Don't feed and keep drier but no drought. IMHO
