Flowering Quince “Red Dragons Blood”

Here’s another flowering quince in my collection. I acquired this a few years back with several others and outside of basic cleanup and repotting into a smaller pot I’ve let it do its thing. As usual, I enjoy the flowers in the spring and then will defoliate and cut it back hard to try to encourage more ramification over the growing season.

Here we are as received and a fall repot in 2021.

I’m going to continue to develop in this broom/clump form to showcase the flowers each year. Thanks for looking!

Mine also has a wonderful knot of roots but it's not as cool as yours
