So there is the main trunk of the mature plant I found last spring on the newer property we purchased near our home. It comes to about my waist and is leggy. (I'm 5'6") several around it were to my calves or to my knees. I think I counted 8 total coming up from the ground.

So I plan to air layer in the spring...but...was curious what ones think of this trunk base. Mind you I didn't disrupt the soil due to winter around the corner...curious what I would find if I dug around it some.

Looks like a time consumer but you could probably make that into a twin trunk or mother daughter.
